Area and length measurement

Set of tools of the Measurements tab is provided for measuring areas and lengths and getting coordinates of specified points on the map.

Point coordinates - to get the coordinates of specified point on the map, select the Point coordinates option and left-click the required point on the map. The measurement result will be shown in the measurements window.

 

 

Measure polyline length - to measure polyline length, select the Measure polyline length option. Draw the object's nodes by left-clicking on the map. Double-click to finish measuring the object. The measurement result will be shown in the measurements window.

 

Measure freehand polyline length - to measure freehand polyline length, select the Measure freehand polyline length option. Draw the object by dragging the cursor on the map with the left mouse button. Release the mouse button to finish drawing. The measurement result will be shown in the measurements window.

 

 

Measure polygon area - to measure polygon area, select the Measure polygon area option. Draw the object's nodes by left-clicking on the map. Double-click to finish measuring the object. The measurement result will be shown in the measurements window.

 

Measure freehand polygon area - to measure freehand polygon area, select the Measure freehand polygon area option. Draw the object by dragging the cursor on the map with the left mouse button. Release the mouse button to finish drawing. The measurement result will be shown in the measurements window.

 

 

To sum the measurements results, click the Sum button. To cancel summation, click the same option one more time.

 

To go to the additional settings dialog, click the Settings button. Select measurement types from the Measurement type list. Specify units for coordinates, length and area. To get back to measurement results, press Back button.

 

 

To delete measurement results, click the Delete button.
